Star Trek's Demise
I read today that in a recent TV Guide poll, Neelix from the Voyager series was amongst the most annoying character. I found this strange since I always liked Neelix. In some respects, I think that he and I are very similar. Janeway (the Queen Bitch) didn�t even make the list. Very strange�..

Rite of Passage
Wow! I can't believe it's been over 5 months since I've made an entry! Let's see....what all has been happening?

First off, let me tell you of a web site I've been working on for my hubby Ken. Check it out at www.mzcherwest.com and yes, it's his drag site. It's not all that technical, but it'll do for now.

Not much else, as I live a rather dull and mundane life. Those of you that know me know how much of this is true. AJ bought a condo of his own and moved out in April. Ken wants to use the extra room as a, well I don't know, Cher shrine or a dressing room for Mz Cher West or something like that. I want the extra $$ from renting it out. I'll prevail, I always do (grin).

I'm going to update my site soon I think. I was thinking the other day of adding like "Top Ten" lists or something. I'll probably wait till like 3am to start because it seems like that's about the time I get creative.

Eric turned 16 last week! Immediately he went and got his driver's license. Now how much time do you think he'll have for Dad? Hummmm...If it's a choice between Dad and friends....I know what my choice would have been. Oh well, it's all part of the rite of passage I suppose. I'll have to accept that. Anyway, more later. Thanksgiving & Christmas 2003
It's been awhile (a month to be exact) and here's the latest. Thanksgiving Ken & I thought we were going to be spending alone at home, just the two of us. Then our neighbors, Pam & Shar, who were originally going to goto Pam's mother's house asked if they could come over for dinner. Seems like her mom decided to goto South Dakota to her brother's for the holiday. Then our roommate A.J. decided not to goto his family in Nebraska, and asked if he and Kim (his "pet lesbian" as he calls her) could come to dinner. Of course I was delighted to have them all over, after all, if I'm going to cook, I'd much rather cook for a bunch. So we ended up having 6 altogether and ended up playing poker afterwards.

Last weekend I got all the Christmas decorations up. I still have some lights outside on the balcony to get up, but that's it. It's getting that time of year again. BAH-HUMBUG! If you don't know me by now, I detest all the hustle and hassle of Christmas. I LOVE the holiday for what it stands for, the birth of our belssed lord, but I hate the commercialization and all. Oh well, I do it for those around me.
